Oristano, the exhibition dedicated to the Guastini Collection at the Antiquarium Arborense.
Friday February 10, 19, to theAntiquarium Arborense the exhibition dedicated to Guastini collection, received at Oristano museum by generous legacy of the heirs.
“A new piece of the Antiquarium Arborense. The Guastini Collection” the title of the exhibition it collects 80 finds which will enrich the rooms of the Antiquarium Arborense.
The exhibition, organized byDepartment of Culture of the Municipality of Oristano and Oristano Foundation, is edited by Anna Paola Delogu e Raimondo Zucca, transposed into the graphic introduction by Walter Mulas, with a tribute to Fortunato Depero, wizard of Rovereto, to pay homage to his works focused on drinking.
The symbolic vase of the Guastini collection is a Nuragic amphora from 9th/8th century to. C. most likely connected to the water of the well temples and the sacred Nuragic springs. The exhibition also refers to the decoration a circles concentric of the same pyriform amphorae and jugs askoids nuragic used to contain wine.
