Sunday 14 April, at 12pm, at the club in via della Spiga, 48, a Milano, was inaugurated, as part of Milano Design Week, the Don't Get Too Comfortable exhibition, which explores deconstructivist approaches to contemporary art and collectible design curated by architect Nicole Saikalis Bay.
Among the exhibitions also the series of seats previewed by CARA/DAVIDE, the designers Cara Judd and Davide Gramatica, at the exhibition Episodi di Mosaico Contemporaneo, curated by Maria Cristina Didero, at Palazzo Rasponi dalle Teste, on the occasion of the last VIII Biennale of contemporary mosaic, and created by the Ravenna mosaic laboratories Pixel Mosaico and Dimensione Mosaico.
The exhibition delves into innovative territories where contemporary art meets design.
The pioneering works of artists Mandy El-Sayegh and Tracey Emin therefore enter into dialogue with the original pieces of four established Italian designers: in addition to CARA \ DAVIDE, Duccio Maria Gambi, Marco Guazzini and TIPSTUDIO who challenge and redefine comfort and aesthetics conventional design, prompting a reevaluation of personal narratives through provocative works.
