This is it narrative inspiration chosen by Giuseppe Cozzi and Pino Landonio with “Ago for monuments” (Meravigli editions): that of the over one hundred and forty statues that adorn the parks and squares of the city. The authors go to awaken them one by one, gaining stories, memories and curiosities.

Also short stories of "Milano author” (Morellini) find setting in the neighborhoods of Milano, between real and imagined itineraries. Everyone does story in itself and together they restore a multi-dimensional city, which reveals the multiple identities of the neighborhoods, their characteristic features still recognisable, or perhaps destined to be lost, in the transformations of a city in constant change.

A selection taken from “Milano in 10 walks"of Andrea Kerbaker (Rizzoli) and others reading suggestions, available in libraries in paper and digital format, they will close the review and open up to new explorations, because this edition of “Milano to read” is also a prelude to the digital platform “LET-MI. Literature Tourist Experience a Milano" that within the end of year will allow travel through our city guided by its history and literary identity: the project, financed by the Ministry of Tourism, rewards the participation of Milano since 2017, the only one in Italy, to the network of UNESCO Creative Cities of Literature.
