Lombardy: boom in visitors, in search of beauty, with the Museum Subscription card you can discover 488 realities.

Culture confirms its role as the protagonist of the summer in the art cities of Lombardy. Not only to Milano, but also in the other provinces of the region there is a renewed interest in museums. This increase in visits is the result of high-quality programming and temporary exhibitions of great appeal which attracted both citizens of Lombardy and touristsi, pushing them to explore the cultural places of the area.

“The magnificent season that is making our museums so sought after and appreciated – declared the regional councilor for Culture, Francesca Caruso – is an important signal. We are proud to be able to make such a rich and varied cultural offering available, capable of attracting visitors from all over Italy but also from abroad. This shows how culture is a fundamental pillar for our region, not only from an artistic and historical point of view, but also as an engine of economic and social growth. We will continue to support and promote initiatives that can further enhance our heritage."

Among the initiatives that contributed to this success stands out the Museum Pass, a card that allows access to exhibitions, royal residences, villas, gardens, towers, and museums in Lombardy, Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta. Founded in 1995, the Museum Subscription Association today brings together the offer of 480 cultural and artistic entities, creating a unique circuit in Italy, capable of competing at a European level.

In our region, the card, valid for 365 days from purchase, is available in different combinations. Among these, the Lombardy-Valle d'Aosta option costs 58 euros for the full price, 52 euros for seniors (65 and over), 32 euros for young people (15 to 26 years old), and 20 euros for juniors (up to 14 years old). The 'AM Formula Extra' offer is also available, with a price of 87 euros for the full price, 80 euros for seniors, 62 euros for young people, and 40 euros for juniors. Today, the Museum Pass has 213.500 holders.

There are numerous initiatives scheduled in the Lombard museums that are part of the circuit.
