Isernia: “YouPol” presented to students, the app that allows reporting incidents of bullying and drug dealing
continuing the initiatives of the State Police of Isernia in synergy with the Schools of the whole Province for raise awareness of students and families on sensitive theme of bullying, cyberbullying and the pitfalls and dangers of using the Web.
The goal is to prevent such phenomena, through the diffusion of the culture of legality, rules and values of civil life, focusing attention on the minor and his varied world, through a continuous dialogue to gain his trust.
To this end, the staff of the Anti-Crime Division of the Isernia Police Headquarters and of the local Operational Section for Cyber Security met, at the school gym, with students and teachers of the "San Giovanni Bosco" Comprehensive Institute of Isernia, stimulating their reflection in an open and constructive dialogue, which leads to common growth and makes the very young less exposed to the risk of deviance.
The boys were also given The “YouPol” application for cell phones was presented, which allows you to report, even anonymously, incidents of bullying and drug dealing, among other things. Students and teachers actively participated in the meeting, demonstrating that the “Culture of Security”, promoted by the State Police, consolidates the link between the institution and the needs of the community, through a “proximity” approach, that is, direct contact with citizens, especially minors.
