Culture: the "European Night of Museums" returns on Saturday 18 May

Saturday 18 May 2024 returns European Museum Night, the initiative promoted by the French Ministry of Culture and sponsored by UNESCO, the Council of Europe and ICOM, which takes place simultaneously throughout Europe with theobjective of encouraging and promoting knowledge of national and European cultural heritage and identity.

The Ministry of Culture is also taking part in the event this year, which has reached its end twentieth edition, with the evening opening of state museums and places of culture at symbolic cost of 1 euros (except the free ones provided for by law).

The extraordinary openings will be enriched by events and initiatives organized in collaboration with bodies and associations, to raise awareness of the Institutes' activities and promote knowledge of the cultural heritage in a particularly evocative atmosphere.
