1 May, Sangiuliano: “Long queues at museums despite bad weather”

The Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, went to Palazzo Barberini in Rome on May 1st.

The minister, accompanied by Director Thomas Clement Salomon, paid a visit to the rooms where, in addition to the permanent collections, exhibitions are underway “Raphael, Titian, Rubens. Masterpieces from the Borghese Gallery to Palazzo Barberini” ed “Night Effect. New American realism. Works from the collection of Tony and Elham Salamé”.

Then he greeted employees and collaborators of the museum, “who today, on Labor Day, with their presence, ensure the usability of the beauty of our immense heritage. The long queue at the entrance here and in other places, despite the bad weather, is an unmistakable sign of the appreciation of our treasures on a global level”, said the Minister.
