Messina, the show "Ah!" will be staged at the Teatro dei 3 Mestieri.
Continue to Messina the billboard of December di EPIC (Performative Experiences of Civil Engagement), the project to promote theater in the suburbs created in Messina by Mana Chuma Theatre in partnership with Latitudes Network e Theater of the 3 Professions.
Next appointment Friday 16 December at 21.00 pm at the Teatro dei 3 Mestieri with "Ah!" (Production ALDES) which is directed by Roberto Castello and with protagonists on stage Erica Bravini, Mariano Nieddu, Alessandra Moretti.
"Ah!" It's a clown show with a futuristic flavor. A pataphysical work, among the Mr. Bonaventura, Alfred Jarry and the musical theater of Brecht, which favors puppetry and stylized gestures to create a two-dimensional world in which funny and bizarre things that essentially make no sense happen.
A dive into a noble style of comic entertainment that has its roots in the Italian culture of a century ago. A consciously childish style which, thanks to this expedient, also manages to touch the colors of the tragic and has inspired avant-garde theater throughout Europe producing artists like Petrolini, Toto e Macario. But here, unlike them, apart from some bizarre couplets of rhyming octosongs that appear from time to time accompanied by a militaristic march, the words are completely absent because the game and the fun arise only from the gestures of the performers and their bizarre dances.
The next scheduled appointments, always at Theater of the 3 Mestieri at 21.00 pm are:
- Tuesday 20December with Street of the people by and with Saverio La RuinA (Production Vertical Scene);
- Thursday December 22 with 4 × 25By and with Lorenzo Praticò (Production Rossosimona Theater of Rende).
