Cremona, summer guided tours of the Civic Museums, from 19 June
Cremona, 17 June 2020 – The program will start from Friday 19 June in the Pinacoteca, at the Natural History Museum and at the Archaeological Museum. of guided tours and in-depth studies that will continue for the entire summer.
The events, which will be held in the three museums on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until the end of August, will lead visitors to discover different works and themes, sometimes curious and little-known. The initiative is designed for tourists, who are starting to frequent museums again, and for the citizens of Cremona who will have the opportunity to return several times, always listening to different stories.
The meetings are by reservation, for a maximum of 10 people, and free (you only pay the entrance ticket for the Art Gallery and the Archaeological Museum, while the Natural History Museum has free access). For the Museum of Rural Civilization "Il Cambonino Vecchio" it remains possible to book visits by appointment.
The calendar of events that will animate the courtyards of Palazzo Affaitati and San Lorenzo during the Friday evening openings will be announced shortly.
A guided tour will also be available to discover what precious heritage our territory still reserves for us. An overview of how and where to find good biodiversity that we must learn to know, expand and protect. What you see at the Museum may be useful to more easily recognize what you could then observe by taking a walk in the places you will find described. The Museum then allows us to compare the animals of our home with those of other parts of the world.
Departure from the Po Valley Colonies: a short journey along the river is proposed to discover some aspects of the precious heritage that our territory still reserves for us with a biodiversity that we must learn to know, expand and protect.
