Cagliari, the streets of the city will host the photographic exhibition “Tràmudas in carrela”.
They are two hundred and forty-two copies of a series of 22 posters in 70×100 format, identical in graphic layout, but each with a different photograph and caption in Sardinian and Italian. Start today in Cagliari “Tràmudas in carrela”, the street exhibition which is articulated through a public poster campaign, to expose the documentary research work on contemporary Sardinian migration, carried out by the Ogros Association over 8 years in 21 countries on 4 continents.
It happened today, the official presentation will be held on Thursday 10 November 2022 at the MeM in via Mameli 164.
The councillor Maria Dolores Picciau thus announced: ""Tràmudas in carrela" is a very important initiative that fits perfectly into the political plan of the Department of Culture and Entertainment of the Municipality of Cagliari to bring art to everyone". And what better way than through large posters to be displayed from the center to the suburbs? “In this way – highlighted the representative of the city executive – everyone can enjoy them and understand the meaning of the emigration of young people, and not only, who have been living outside the regional borders for many years”.
It is the result of "long work around the world, in eight years we have met and interviewed one hundred and seventy people of Sardinian origin or born in Sardinia who live in countries other than Italy", he clarified Antonio Mannu, author of the 22 shots that will be the protagonists of the streets of Cagliari for 15 days.
