Brescia, Lampi di Poesia project to keep the cultural proposal alive

Brescia, Lampi di Poesia is an art project born during the very first and difficult days of isolation, the first LAMPO is dated 14 March 2020, when artistic, theatrical and cultural entities such as our association, Progetti e Regie, were asked to be there and to contribute to keeping the country's cultural proposal alive.
We at Progetti e Regie have decided to deploy some of the resources of our work: the love for poetry, the experience in making videos, the long-standing collaboration with excellent musicians and Laura Mantovi's ability to use the innovative LightPainting technique, i.e. the photographic technique (here translated into video) that captures the drawing created by the movement performed with a light source (from the simple battery to the more complex and spectacular brushes of light).
The combination of these languages ​​gave life to LAMPI di POESIA.
Lampi di Poesia sees a team of only women at work.
The musicians Ombretta Ghidini, Daniela Savoldi, Giorgia Poli, Libera Rossi and Stefania Maratti;
Anastasia Guarinoni for researching poetic verses written by female poets; Laura Mantovi for the creation of the Light Painting videos and for interpreting the poetic extracts. The director Sara Poli, with her professional gaze, orchestrated the entire project. Lampi di Poesia was a true commitment of love.
And only the enthusiasm of those who received them every day convinced us to continue for 50 days with a daily form of sending. It was no small undertaking. Each Flash, even if it lasts just a few minutes, requires a lot of work. But the enthusiasm and gratitude of those who loved them have amply repaid us.
The Lampi di Poesia also brought us many unexpected satisfactions, not least the choice
of the important International Association Susan G. Komen Italy, for the fight against breast cancer, to publish a flash a day on their social channels throughout the period of isolation.
The first 50 Lampi, created daily, had two ibans queued up to support
#aiutiAMObrescia, fundraiser promoted by the Bresciana Community Foundation and the Giornale di Brescia and to support the Giovanni XXIII hospital in Bergamo.
The Lampi di Poesia in their daily form stopped at number 50, Saturday 2 May, then became a weekly event until 31 August and from XNUMX September they became monthly.
We are currently at LAMPO di POESIA n.69.
But the LAMPI DI POESIA project is also taking an important new direction.
We are creating THEMATIC Flashes of Poetry, as food for thought on important themes
social issues, such as Gender Violence, Remembrance Day, March 8th, the Day
World Poetry Day, World Autism Day, Day for Innocent Mafia Victims, and others.
We would like these flashes to arrive in municipalities and libraries but also in schools,
through the IWB or the DAD, to accompany students' reflection on important social issues and events in the civil calendar.
POETRY FLASH 25 NOVEMBER
We remain firmly convinced that Gender Violence is mainly a cultural problem, of a society without strong and shared social values ​​and that education and cultural and educational reflection are one of the most powerful weapons to defeat this scourge. This is why we believe it is essential to involve schools on this problem in a very complex school year.
