Arezzo, meetings for Chinese language certification
Two meetings will be offered with two different professors from Wenzhou University who consolidate the relationship with the Chinese language
Arezzo, meetings for Chinese language certification.
The relationships between theUniversity of Siena and the Chinese Wenzhou University have already been active for several years and have strengthened over time thanks also to some visits to China by the Rector Francesco Frati and thanks to the commitment of Professor Maria Omodeo, of the Department of Philology and criticism of ancient and modern literatures of University of Siena.
Thanks to the agreement with the Chinese university, since last September, two professors from the Chinese university, Professor Wu Hairong and Professor Luo Chuilian, they are actively involved in teaching the Chinese language at the degree course in Languages for intercultural and business communication held in Arezzo.
And it is in Arezzo that the Chinese language section of the course will host two events open to the public, with the two teachers from Wenzhou University.
The first meeting will be held on April 4th at 14.30 pm (room 10 of the Pionta Campus in viale Cittadini 33) with Professor Wu, who will hold an informative lesson on the Chinese language certification Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì (HSK) and on the exam test that measures the ability to use the language of non-native speakers.
The teacher will illustrate the structure of the exam, the contents of the different levels, how to register for the exam and its relevance. The event will be held in English. The test is administered by Hanban (汉办), an agency of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. Professor Wu is a professor at Wenzhou University and an expert in applied linguistics
In the lesson on April 11th, again at 14.30 pm at the Pionta Campus, Professor Luo will hold an illustrative and practical lesson on Chinese writing, presenting the history of over 3000 years, the different evolutions and relevance in contemporary culture. The event will be held in Chinese with simultaneous translation into Italian.
Professor Luo, as well as a professor at Wenzhou University, is also a member of the National Linguistic Society, holding the role of Putonghua Proficiency Tester.
Both events will be hosted in Professor Maria Omodeo's Chinese Literature and Culture course.
