Crotone Autunno Insieme: the collaboration table between organizations, associations and institutions that will give life to a series of events to make the Crotone residents and visitors “experience the city”.

The Municipality of Crotone, within the events of Crotone Autumn Together, has sponsored and is coordinating through the Department of Tourism, the Program OKTOBER FRIENDS proposed by the Amici del Tedesco association with the involvement of the Basilica Cathedral Parish of San Dionigi, Pro Loco, Fondazione Santa Critelli, Confcommercio, Fenimprese, Confartigianato, Alfa 21, Global Cruise Port and the associations Multitracce and Nui subba u Casteddu.

With OKTOBER FRIENDS the table is strengthened collaboration activated by the tourism department between associations and bodies - says councilor Maria Bruni - aimed at the coordinated planning of events and demonstrations in the City of Crotone. Each institution had planned for the autumn period a series of self-financed initiatives– Bruni communicates – to be implemented from October onwards but without having knowledge of what was already being planned both by the municipal administration and the other associations. Instead, with this table, open to all associations and neighborhood committees that want to be part of it, the various initiatives are presented at this table, discussed and the methods of implementation, services, infrastructures and dates were shared in order to distribute them throughout the month.

This collaboration was fruit of encounters in order to give organicity to the events and optimize the forces of each person to have the maximum result: to allow make the city “live” to the people of Crotone and visitors, even in the autumn and winter months and to increase the economy.

The Cathedral Basilica is also involved in the partnership, in particular in Cavatelli tasting: preparation and tastings, on October 5th and 6th, in Piazza Immacolata. The proceeds will be donated to Listening House of the Basilica to support the families most in need; the generosity of the trade associations and their associates is very strong - says Bruni - to provide, free of charge, everything needed for the preparation and tasting. To the delight of the children, Walt Disney characters and volunteers wearing traditional Crotone costumes will wander along Via Vittorio Emanuele. Also on the 6th, in the morning there will be the cultural tour In the footsteps of San Dionigi and in the afternoon “Journey to Crotone’s Arberia, unique experiences for conscious tourism”. On the 7th there will be the award ceremony for the winners of the XNUMXnd edition of the Crotone Castle Prize

The month of October is also the celebration of Saint Denis and it will arrive'AIDA BLUE and a welcome ceremony has been organized for the cruise passengers who will attend the blessing of the seeds and agricultural vehicles.

Piazza Castello will also have its entertainment, on Saturday 12 October at 17.00pm with Castellani in festa; there will be no shortage of sporting events, on the 15th with the beach volleyball of the nations on the seafront and on the 16th the friendship bike ride between Crotone and Hamm and in the evening a concert in Piazza Immacolata. The month of October will end at 18.00pm with a guided tour of the historic center with simultaneous translation into various languages.
