Crotone: Police raid uncovers illegal arcade in Isola Capo Rizzuto.

Within the territorial control services, Police Chief of the Province of Crotone, Renato Panvino, has arranged a impressive service in the city of Isola Capo Rizzuto and in the locality of Le Castella, engaging Administrative Police, Anti-Crime Police, Flying Squad, DIGOS, Immigration Office, Traffic Police and Railway Police, aimed at prevention and repression of crimes, in particular drug dealing and the control of criminals under house arrest and under special surveillance.

• 648 people identified, Of which 226 positive results in database.

• 296 vehicles checked e 11 violations of the Highway Code.

Main activities

• 296 checks on people, 118 with previous convictions in SDI.

• 17 home checks against individuals with a police record.

• 120 vehicle checks e 6 protests against the CDS.

• 1 check per commercial establishment: administrative seizure of 5 gaming machines and fines worth 50.000 €.

Mobile and Anti-Crime Squad

• Attention on 17 individuals subjected to limitations of personal freedom, residents of Isola Capo Rizzuto and Le Castella.

• Targeted control of possession of weapons, often used for fights or arbitrary imposition of one's reasons.

DIGOS and Highway Police

• DIGOS: identified 12 non-EU citizens and check 3 car.

• Traffic Police: checked 14 vehicles, 17 people identified and a Highway Code penalty.

Crime Prevention Department

• Checkpoints with identification of 145 Guests, Of which 68 with precedents, and 68 vehicles checked.

Capital of Crotone

• Flying squads have identified 352 Guests, Of which 108 positive results, checked 176 vehicles and elevated 5 sanctions to the Highway Code.
