Crotone, a patronage employee is harassed: she is given an electronic bracelet.

Officers from the Crotone Police Headquarters have executed a restraining order, placing an electronic bracelet on a man under investigation for stalking an employee of the Crotone welfare agency.

The measure was issued following the complaint filed by the injured party who reported being subjected to continuous harassing and threatening conduct by a man, a client of the city's welfare office, who, driven by the belief that he had not been adequately assisted in managing tax and social security practices, he has put in place bullying and intimidating attitudes, such as to cause a serious and lasting state of anxiety and fear in the victim, forcing him to change his lifestyle habits.

Following the complaint, officers from the Flying Squad's specialized "Crimes against the Person" section immediately began an investigation under the "Red Code" procedure. They reconstructed in detail a long series of stalking, threatening, and aggressive incidents committed by the man, who, through stalking, stakeouts, and threatening remarks directed at the victim and his colleagues, induced the victim to change her lifestyle.

In particular, The documents revealed that the suspect, driven by the belief that he had not been treated adequately by the welfare agency regarding the handling of certain tax matters, allegedly made threatening remarks to the victim, even chasing her to her car, harassing and threatening her.

The victim's detailed statements and other investigative findings, processed by the Crotone Public Prosecutor's Office led by Prosecutor Domenico Guarascio and entrusted to a pool of specialized magistrates, resulted in a request for a precautionary measure, which was granted by the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Crotone Court and immediately executed by the Flying Squad against the suspect.
