Crotone: State Police arrest two men for aggravated brawling in the city center.

The patrol cars responded promptly: two non-EU citizens were arrested, while a third man managed to escape.

Crotone: State Police arrest two men for aggravated brawling in the city center.

The State Police of Crotone, as part of the usual prevention services arranged by the Police Commissioner Renato Panvino, he arrested two non-EU citizens held responsible for the crime of aggravated brawl e threats.

The intervention was triggered following a report received by the Operations Room, which indicated a violent fight taking place in the very centre of the city.

The Flying Squad's intervention: two arrests and a fugitive

Arriving promptly on site, the Flying Squad patrols surprised three men involved in a fight particularly aggressive.

At the sight of the police, one of the three managed to escape and disappear without a trace, while the other two were arrested in the act.

The two men were taken to the police station for identification procedures. During the fight, one of the men involved suffered a facial injury: both were treated and released with medical attention. 5 and 7 day prognosis.

Once the investigations were concluded, the two subjects were arrested for brawl aggravated by injuries, aggravated threats, and subsequently sent to prison available to the Judicial Authority.

Investigations continue to identify the third man he fled.

Local checks: over 200 people identified

On the same day, the Flying Squad officers carried out an intense territorial control activity which led to:

  • 214 people identified,

  • 139 vehicles checked,

  • a complaint for resistance to a Public Official.

The arrests and checks carried out confirm the constant commitment of the State Police in garrison of the city center, with the aim of ensuring safety, preventing crimes against individuals and protecting the community.
