Crotone: Drug dealer arrested in the city center and man convicted of sexual assault on a minor.

La State Police of Crotone carried out two separate arrests as part of the territorial control services ordered by the Police Chief Renato Panvino.

The first measure concerned a 56enne, reached by a prison order issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Crotone: the man, definitively sentenced to 2 years and 2 months for sexual violence against a minor, was tracked down in his home and subsequently taken to the Vibo Valentia Prison.

In the historic city centre, during activities aimed at combating drug dealing, the police officers Flying Squad they arrested a 39enne, caught while talking to a foreign individual - who later fled - presumably to sell drugs. A dose of hashish was found on the pavement 1,56 grams.

The subsequent house search allowed the seizure of 178,25 grams of hashish, precision balance, knife dipped in narcotic substance and packaging material. The drugs were stored between the bedroom and a bathroom cabinet.

The man was placed under arrest upon order of the Judicial Authority.

The operation is part of the activities coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, led by Domenico Guarascio, aimed at hitting the criminal network that fuels drug dealing in areas frequented by young people.
