Buonvicino: a couple arrested by the Diamante Carabinieri Station for possessing a large quantity of marijuana.

A further blow inflicted by the Carabinieri of the Scalea Company on the illicit trafficking of narcotics in the upper Tyrrhenian area of ​​Cosenza.
The services provided by the competent Carabinieri Stations aimed at combating this type of crime continue incessantly, with the constant coordination of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Paola.
The latest operation was conducted on November 22 by the Diamante Carabinieri Station, which arrested a 46-year-old local man and his partner, also 46, originally from Cosenza, in Buonvicino for having in possession 1.85 kg of marijuana and 5 kg of cannabis indica plant residues.

The latter were found in a warehouse available to the couple, while the remaining drugs were found in several rooms of their home, most hidden in a suitcase stored under the bed. During the search activities, the Carabinieri also recovered 2 electronic scales, various material for packaging the drug and manuscripts in which the names, prices and quantities of drugs sold were reported.
All the material found was seized; the drugs will be subjected to technical tests by the Narcotics Analysis Laboratory of the Carabinieri of Vibo Valentia.

The two arrested were placed under house arrest pending the validation hearing.
