The action of Carabinieri's fight against all forms of violence against women and within the family it is constant and continues daily.
Another one proves it Arrest of a 58-year-old violent husband and father, operated on December 10 by the Castrovillari Company in Acquaformosa, a small town in the Cosenza area with less than 1000 inhabitants.
After wife's complaint and the careful investigations of the military, it was possible reconstruct a history of over 30 years of continuous mistreatment in the family, as long as the entire marital relationship: constant physical and psychological violence, bullying of all kinds, even towards daughtersat the time of the facts minors.
Even in some circumstances the man allegedly demanded to have sexual intercourse with the woman who, frightened by the consequences of her refusal, was forced to submit to her husband's sexual demands.

While the man, in consideration of the elements collected, by virtue of the current phase of the preliminary investigations and with the coordination of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Castrovillari, has been arrested in application of a precautionary prison measure order issued by the Court of Castrovillari for the crime of abuse in the family.
