Eight DASPOs were issued to Rossanese Calcio fans following the brawls at the “S. Rizzo” stadium in Corigliano-Rossano, and six DACURs were issued for brawls and assaults in Paola.

La State Police of Cosenza, following careful investigations conducted by the Anti-Crime Division and from State Police Station of Corigliano-Rossano, issued a flurry of restrictive measures against individuals responsible for violent conduct during sporting events and in public order contexts.
Banned from playing for Rossanese Calcio fans
Il Police Chief of the Province of Cosenza has arranged eight measures prohibiting access to places where sporting events are held (DASPO) towards as many fans of the Rossanese Calcio, following the riots that occurred on November 2nd at the “S. Rizzo” stadium in Corigliano-Rossano, during the “Rossanese vs Trebisacce” match valid for the Excellence championship.
The measures, calibrated on the basis of the seriousness of the behaviors held, provide:

4 2-year DASPOs,

3 3-year DASPOs,

1 5-year DASPOs against a fan already subject to a similar ban.
Per four fansin addition, the GIP of the Court of Cosenza validated theobligation to report to a police station during Rossanese matches.
DACUR in the Tyrrhenian Sea of Cosenza
At the request of theArms of the Carabinieri and after the preliminary investigation of the Anti-Crime Division, were issued five DACUR provisions (Prohibition of Access to Urban Areas, known as “Urban Daspo”) towards criminals residing in the Tyrrhenian Sea of Cosenza.
The subjects had been reported for a fight exploded outside a public place on Paola seafront, during which they had also caused material damage to the club.
They were forbidden enter, stop or linger near the main public establishments of the Paola seafront area.
Further DACUR for assault on a public official
Always upon request of the Paola State Police Station, a has been arranged further DACUR against a Paola's criminal record, who had already been the recipient of a similar provision in the past, and who had been responsible for injuries and threats to a public official e damage of a place in the city centre.
The provision bans access to premises in the centre of Paola for two years.
These interventions are part of the broader framework of prevention and counteraction of violent and antisocial behavior coordinates from the Cosenza Police Headquarters, aimed at ensure safety, legality and compliance with the rules both in sporting events and in urban spaces.
