Sharon Verzeni, a 33 year old woman originally from Bottanuco but resident in Terno d'Isola for about three years, she was stabbed to death during the night while she was walking in the town in the province of Bergamo. The victim, a beautician who worked part-time in a nail bar was stabbed in the chest and back.

Despite was able to call 112 for help, she was found on the street shortly after 1 am and rushed to hospital to hospital, where she died shortly after arrival.
