Viterbo: the Juppiter Association and the State Police together again in a new journey of the Caravan of Legality. Destination Palermo.
It left this morning from Viterbo the caravan of legality which sees the State Police and the Jupiter Association together once again, after the exciting experience of the journey to the North Cape, to promote the values of proximity, justice, inclusion and solidarity among the new generations.
A new adventure that will take place from 4th to 10th September the “special” boys of the Association up to Palermo and Capaci, to explore the symbolic places of the fight against organised crime in Italy and collect along the way the life experiences in the service of the legality of men in uniform.
After the celebration of the Holy Mass at the Basilica of San Francesco, where the group received the blessing of the Bishop of Viterbo, Monsignor Orazio Francesco Piazza, the caravan headed towards the Sanctuary of Santa Rosa to admire the "machine" protagonist of the celebrations just passed in honor of the patron saint of the city. Waiting for them, two crews of the State Police, ready to escort them out of the city for the next stop: Naples.
This is a journey that, in the words of Salvatore Regoli, president of the Juppiter Association, is above all “metaphor for civic engagement, a path to travel together, in the awareness that only together can we build a society that takes care of itself and of those who are part of it".
A similar spirit is what guided the birth of the collaboration between Juppiter and the State Police, strongly desired by the Chief of Police - General Director of Public Security Prefect Vittorio Pisani, in the belief that daily commitment alongside the community is the main vector of the concepts of legality, inclusion and respect.
The State Police and Jupiter have recently concluded the caravan towards North Cape, which started from Civita di Bagnoregio on June 19 and reached its destination on June 30; a project to which the State Police has provided its support ensuring the presence alongside the group of two agents and a medical director aboard the Lamborghini URUS car with institutional livery.
