In recent days, the Agents of the Immigration Office of the Vicenza Police Headquarters carried out the repatriation to the country of origin of the Bangladeshi citizen ID, born in 1968, who was illegal on the national territory. The man, who entered Italy in 1998, had been the protagonist of criminal actions for years, so much so that in 2022 the Vicenza police commissioner revoked his residence permit also following the conviction for family mistreatment inflicted by the investigating judge preliminaries of Vicenza.

The Bangladeshi had in fact been held responsible for serious mistreatment of his wife and daughter. Subsequently, the foreigner filed an appeal to oppose the revocation of the residence permit, but the Council of State confirmed the Police Headquarters' review decision, classifying the man as a socially dangerous individual.

Over the years he had collected numerous complaints: among these one from 2021 regarding the wounding of a compatriot with a stick, causing serious injuries. Previously he had been reported for fraud, robbery, simulation of a crime, slander and causing alarm.

After months of work, the Immigration Office staff managed to obtain from the Bangladesh Consulate of Milano the issuing of a pass which allowed the man's repatriation. With the validation of the accompaniment at the border, obtained from the Justice of the Peace of Vicenza, the foreigner was escorted to the Marco Polo airport in Venice where he was taken care of by specialized personnel who accompanied him to Dacca.
At the same time, staff from the Vicenza Police Headquarters took KO, a 37-year-old Maghreb citizen, to the Gradisca Permanence and Repatriation Center

d'Isonzo. The man had arrived clandestinely in Italy in 2008 through the Brindisi sea border where he was immediately tracked down and rejected. KO evaded the rejection order and then arrived in this province. In 2011, following an argument with 33-year-old GR, also from the Maghreb, at the end of a dispute over the subdivision of the shop square, during the Oto Festival in Campo Marzio he caused his death by throwing a blow at him.

Following the intense investigations carried out by the Flying Squad Agents, they managed to track him down just as he was about to leave Italy.
Sentenced to a sentence of 14 years and 1 month, and having reached the end of the prison period, the foreigner was taken into charge by the Agents of the Immigration Office of the Police Headquarters, and following a detention decree issued by the Police Commissioner of Vicenza, they escorted to the Repatriation Center in Gradisca d'Isonzo (Gorizia), where he will be held waiting to be boarded on a direct flight to Tunisia as soon as possible.Vicenza: ufficio immigrazione, 2 pericolosi pregiudicati espulsi e rimpatriati.
