Vicenza: a 27-year-old man sneaked into a nursing home and attacked the health workers. Reported by the State Police.

Around 10.30 am yesterday, a crew on duty Police patrol car intervened in Vicenza, in the central area, at a well-known nursing home, where he had been the arbitrary entry of a man was reported who had hidden himself, evading controls, probably intending to commit theft.

The man was chased by the facility's own employees who then indicated it to the State Police Agents who had arrived in the meantime.

The health workers - in particular two employees of the nursing home and a doctor - reported that in an attempt to intercept the man and convince him to come out, they had been attacked by him with various pushes, even though they did not resort to medical treatment.

The man, a Moroccan citizen born in 1997, resident in Arcugnano, was coming intercepted by the police inside the nursing home while trying to escape the controls again. He was therefore immobilized and taken to the police station.

Following the activity, he was reported to the Judicial Authority for personal injury, private violence and for violating the ban on returning to the municipality of Vicenza (a measure valid until 2025).
