Varese, state police, Varese flying squad, the ogre who abused his son was arrested
Varese, the State Police of Varese coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Varese arrested a 45-year-old man, resident in the province of Varese, in the act of committing the crime of multiple aggravated sexual violence committed against his fourteen-year-old son.
According to what was ascertained during the investigation, the man had been sexually abusing his son since the minor was twelve years old, taking advantage of the moments when neither his wife nor his daughter were at home.
After two years of violence, the minor found the courage to confide in one of his classmates to whom he reported what he was forced to suffer. The girl, understanding the gravity of the facts learned, convinced her friend of the need to report what was happening to one of their teachers who, with the intention of relieving his student as soon as possible from that oppressive and painful condition, reported promptly report the facts to the Judicial Authority through their school director.
The Flying Squad, therefore, coordinated by the Varese Prosecutor's Office, undertook a pressing investigative activity which led, after just a few days, to arresting the man in the act of committing the crime.
Following his father's arrest, the minor appeared visibly relieved and repeatedly thanked the State Police personnel, also through a liberating hug to the operating agents, for having brought him out of a nightmare.
The investigative result highlights once again how much there is a "submerged" phenomenon in crimes of violence within the home, and how, at the same time, the activation of the competent authorities can make it possible to put an end to the commission of even very serious crimes. In this topic, the school context has proven to be fundamental in bringing to light events that otherwise might not come to the attention of the Judicial Authority.
