On the afternoon of November 21, in Ugento, a control operation was conducted which led to to be arrested in flagrante delicto of a 38enne of the place for illegal possession of explosive substances and pyrotechnic devices.

It should be emphasized that the proximity of the places where explosive material is stored to civil homes puts the safety of the population at risk, prompting a timely intervention by the men of the Carabinieri. Following the arrest, they were 19 weapons legally held by the arrested man seized, together with the relevant enabling titles.
