During the rear-crossing checks carried out by the Carabinieri of Duino, in the square of the rest area along the RA13 the soldiers proceeded to check a forty-three-year-old Romanian citizen returning to his country of origin. The investigations into the database reveal that he is wanted for failure to comply with family obligations and threats, crimes committed in Turin where he previously resided.
The Carabinieri, therefore, arrest him and take him to Coroneo where he will have to serve one year and eleven months.
Ironically, the arrested man had just finished working as a house painter in a prison facility across the Alps.
