Trezzo sull'Adda (Milano), the network of drug "riders" defeated: 9 arrested

On the morning of Wednesday 19 June, in municipality of Trezzo sull'Adda and province of Bergamo, the Carabinieri of the Pioltello Company they executed a precautionary custody order, issued by the GIP at the Ordinary Court of Milano, against 9 subjects (of which 6 were placed in prison, 2 under house arrest and 1 under the obligation to stay), of aged between 29 and 43 years, responsible, in various capacities, of association aimed at illicit trafficking of narcotic substances, illicit possession of narcotic substances and illegal carrying of weapons in public places.

The measure that arises from the results from information osmosis between the Operations Section of the Pioltello Company and the Carabinieri Station of Trezzo sull'Adda with regard to a drug dealing activity, it has allowed us to outline the existence of a criminal association permanently dedicated to the commission of crimes relating to narcotics, characterised by many years of operation and a clear division of tasks among the members.

The investigations, coordinated by the DDA(district anti-mafia directorate)di Milano, developed also through technical activities, they allowed make sure – right away - the drug dealing conduct of a 43 year old Albanian, made with delivery methods at home or at places agreed from time to time, ordinarily reached by bicycle and also documented with images, how the association supplied narcotics in the provinces of Milano and Bergamo, even in broad daylight in the presence of unaware passers-by; highlight the primary function in the management of the activities of two Albanians aged 41 and 39, who, in addition to occasionally providing for the sale of retail doses, they organized and directed the participants, worrying about supply them with the necessary doses, to personally manage orders and priorities in appointments, to resolve any disagreements and decide on the transfer on credit to customers deemed solvent; reconstruct the organizational structure outlined for the custody, packaging and the sale of the narcotic, as well as for the management of contacts with suppliers, contacted when necessary through various communication tools; arrest a 32-year-old red-handed, found in possession of no. 100 doses of cocaine for a total weight of g. 55, as well as reporting numerous buyers to the prefectural authority.

In the same context, was also carried out the preventive seizure of n. 3 medium-sized cars, employed for drug dealing activity, of n. 3 bank accounts registered in the name of the recipients of the precautionary measures, as well as an apartment of 117 m2 and n. 2-room garage, retaining that these assets are disproportionate to the standard of living of the suspects who formally appear to have negligible sums sufficient for current life.
