Trapani, they sell wedding rings but they are stolen: couple reported by the Carabinieri
Trapani, yesterday the Carabinieri of the Marsala Company reported two subjects, a man and a woman, for the crime of receiving stolen goods. The two were surprised by an off-duty Carabiniere in front of a gold dealer while they were trying to sell some jewellery.
Il military, who knows the subjects stopped well, decided to intervene to understand the reason why one had entered while the 'others remained wary on the outside of the commercial activity. Called a patrol to assist Carabinieri they identified the pair and they ascertained that the two were intent on sell gold items. Among these there was one for sale wedding ring which reported i names , wedding date which was certainly not that of the subjects in question. From a quick investigation the Carabinieri traced back to owner of the wedding ring who reported that the ring had been given to him stolen the night before.
The two, who had been in the meantime accompanied at the Company Headquarters offices, were thus reported for stolen as the ring came returned to the rightful owner. The investigators' investigations continue in order to gather further investigative evidence.
