Turin: Attempted aggravated robbery by two young men in their twenties.

In the past few hours the staff ofthe Dora Vanchiglia State Police Station arrested two young men in their twenties of foreign origins seriously suspected of attempted aggravated robbery in competition.

Late Tuesday morning, a police patrol goes to Via Carcano near a school, following a signal by a group of boys of an attempted robbery which occurred against one of them.

Arrived on site, the group told the officers about two young North Africans who approached a friend of theirs asking for a cigarette. To the answer negative, one of the two began to get closer and closer in a threatening manner, until suddenly the young twenty-year-old put his hands around his neck, to rob him of the gold necklace the boy was wearing.

From here a strong argument arises as a friend of his intervenes in defense of the victim, to whom the two kick and try, in vain, to hit him with a branch and then escape.

Having learned what happened, the police carried out several checks in the area and after viewing some video surveillance cameras, they tracked down two people near Lungo Dora Voghera with the same characteristics described by the group, which moreover matched the images viewed shortly before.
