Brindisi, checks on the "Green Pass": 4 premises closed and 30 administrative fines raised
Brindisi, the monitoring and control action conducted by the State Police at recreational, catering and public entertainment facilities across the entire provincial territory, aimed at verifying compliance with rules and regulations to combat the ongoing pandemic phenomenon, strongly engages the operational units of the Police Headquarters and the Commissariats of Ostuni and Mesagne, particularly in these summer weeks.
In the last 15 days, in fact, over 60 activities have been subject to verification and around 30 administrative sanctions have been imposed.
In particular, 4 catering and entertainment venues along the coast of Ostuni were subject to temporary closure and another 5 establishments used for the provision of food and drinks in the city center of Brindisi were administratively sanctioned. The managers of the latter have also been reported to the Judicial Authority for exceeding the phonometric limits, ascertained in collaboration with ARPA personnel.
Other sanctions were imposed for failure to prepare checks for customers regarding the possession of green pass in a club/bar in Ostuni, while 8 people, sitting inside a commercial establishment in the capital, were accused not only of the non-availability of the GREENPASS, but also of the absence of the prescribed anti-contagion protection devices.
Among the infringements of the anti-covid 19 legislation, there is also the one detected and sanctioned against an operator of an entertainment venue located in Ostuni, where the agents found the patrons busy dancing.
Numerous checks were also carried out in the city center and in the related Mesagne area, where the 31 commercial businesses subjected to checks were found to be in line with the adoption of the legal provisions.
