I Occimiano Carabinieri (AL) have reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Vercelli a 57-year-old and three Romanian citizens aged 36, 37 and 55, two of whom are homeless, considered seriously suspected of the crimes of aggravated bodily harm and kidnapping to the detriment of a 36 year old Romanian shepherd.
The four, taking advantage of the man's moment of night rest, broke into his caravan, located in a rural area, and they attacked him with kicks, punches and a herd guide, causing personal injuries which were subsequently judged to be curable in twenty days. The attackers then loaded the shepherd into the trunk of a vehicle used by the 57-year-old abandoned not far from the site of the attack, in the municipality of Mirabello Monferrato, from where the victim managed to ask for help, going to a public establishment, and was then rescued and transported to the Casale Monferrato hospital.
The immediate investigative and technical activity conducted by the Carabinieri of Occimiano, supported by the analysis of the images of the video surveillance systems, made it possible to gather elements of guilt against the four attackers, reported to the Judicial Authority for the crimes attributed to them.
