In afternoon of July 31st, the agents of Pavia railway police arrested a foreign citizen, burdened by police prejudice, for the crime of injury. The police, alerted by some citizens, intervened a fight outside the train station. On site they identified a 29 year old Gambian citizen, with different stab wounds on the chest and his attacker, an Algerian citizen with a knife hidden in the waistband of his trousers, which was immediately blocked.

From the investigations it emerged that the victim would have recognized the arrested person as he was perpetrator of the theft of his bicycle, occurred the previous day. During the negotiations for the restitution, a violent argument broke out between the two, at the height of which the 30-year-old Algerian citizen pulled out the weapon, hitting the other and causing him injuries, fortunately superficial, which were treated by the doctors of the S. Matteo hospital in Pavia. The perpetrator of the crime was taken to the district house available to the Judicial Authority.
