Thefts and robberies in Pordenone: arrest and removal from the national territory for two young foreigners.

In the month of May, a Pordenone, a group made up of nine people, two Italians and seven foreigners, burdened by criminal and police records, some of whom were homeless, became perpetrators of multiple episodes of thefts and robberies committed both to the detriment of private citizens and to the detriment of commercial establishments such as shops and hypermarkets which caused considerable uproar and social alarm among the citizens of Pordenone. In consideration of the seriousness of the facts reported, the Pordenone Public Prosecutor's Office coordinated the joint investigative activity of the Flying Squad of the Pordenone Police Headquarters and the Pordenone Carabinieri Company Command, requesting and obtaining theissuing seven precautionary measures to the Judge of the Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Pordenone against the members of the group. Last July 7, one of the young people belonging to the aforementioned group: NN, 19 years old, Congolese citizen, despite having been subjected since May 11 to the precautionary measure of the obligation to report to the judicial police without complying with this obligation, made himself known responsible for a theft at the Mega store in Pordenone.

In this regard, on 25 July staff of the Flying Squad of the Pordenone Police Headquarters reported the aforementioned 19 year old is under arrestand, in execution of the provision issued by the GIP of the Ordinary Court of Pordenone, Dr. Rodolfo Piccin, for aggravation of sentence, with which the precautionary measure of the arrest with the application of an electronic bracelet. Furthermore, on Friday 28 July, the Immigration Office of the Pordenone Police Headquarters carried out the execution the expulsion adopted by the Prefect of Pordenone against the 22 year old Moroccan citizen, HZ, with immediate accompaniment to the Venice air border. The 22-year-old, irregular in the National Territory and without a fixed abode, belonging to the aforementioned group of young people, was also identified as the perpetrator of the crime of an attempted robbery perpetrated on 23 February 2023 against a employee of a business in the city center and for this reason subjected by the Judicial Authority to the precautionary measure of the obligation of daily presentation to the Prosecutor's Office. At the end of the preliminary investigation and having obtained the Nulla Osta from the Court of Pordenone, personnel from the Pordenone Police Headquarters yesterday afternoon escorted the foreign citizen to the the “Marco Polo” airport in Venice, giving rise to the material expulsion from the National Territory with boarding the flight to Morocco.
