Taranto, drug dealing in via Plinio: two arrests by the State Police

Taranto, yet another anti-drug operation by the Flying Squad Hawks in via Plinio, made extremely complex due to the particular shape of that building which allows drug dealers numerous control points and as many escape routes.
The police, despite the difficulties of the case, had managed to ascertain that two criminals from Taranto, already known for their previous drug dealing activities, had very specific tasks.
While one, the youngest, acted as a lookout, often sitting on a scooter parked at the entrance to the building, the other, wandering around inside the buildings with extreme mastery, kept the doses ready for the sale of his colleagues in a pouch. numerous customers.
Only after careful observation of the places, identifying two possible access routes, did the police decide to intervene.
Entering the building with the utmost caution and separately, the police managed to surprise the drug dealer still wearing his pouch, finding more than 60 doses of cocaine of different weights and sizes inside, all heat-sealed and enclosed in small cellophane wrappers. and 7 small cartons of hashish, as well as 50 euros in small denomination banknotes.
The subsequent and careful inspection of the premises made it possible to recover on a wall on which the man had been seen climbing several times, a pack of cigarettes with another 6 cartons of hashish identical to those found in the pouch.
Simultaneously, other Hawks personnel stopped the "post" who, having noticed the presence of the police, had loudly tried to warn his accomplice.
Both those arrested were arrested in flagrante delicto.

The drug dealer, a 42-year-old from Taranto, was accompanied to the Taranto district prison by order of the Competent Judicial Authority, while his 25-year-old accomplice was placed under house arrest.
