Stealing server and speaker worth 1500 euros: 19-year-old arrested in the province of Alessandria.

In the afternoon of 27 May 2023, the Carabinieri of the Tortona Company have arrested a 19 year old of Moroccan origins for aggravated theft in the home. The story originates from a theft inspection carried out by the Carabinieri of Viguzzolo in the afternoon of the same day in a house in Villalvernia, where they had been removed a server and a speaker worth 1.500 euros. From the immediate investigations carried out on site, also through the acquisition of images from the video surveillance system, the Carabinieri distributed the identikit of the perpetrator of the theft to all the Operations Centers of the Province and, at the same time, a patrol of the Carabinieri of Cassano Spinola, following a citizen's report, he proceeded to check two individuals who were suspiciously wandering around that centre.

The subsequent investigations carried out by the Villalvernia Carabinieri made it possible to ascertain that one of the two subjects stopped by their colleagues was indeed the perpetrator of the theft, who was therefore taken to the station offices and subjected to a search, resulting in him still being in possession of part of the stolen goods. At that point, faced with the evidence of the facts, the young man was forced to admit his responsibility, also having the remaining objects previously removed recovered.

At the end of the operations, the 19-year-old was arrested and taken to the Alessandria prison. On May 29, the Court of Alessandria validated the arrest and applied the precautionary measure of precautionary custody in prison against the young person. This is yet another arrest made by the Carabinieri of Tortona thanks to the precious and indisputable contribution of citizens and their reports to the 112 user, an element that once again certifies how the synergy between the police forces and citizens can give greater effectiveness to daily fight against crime.
