Siniscola (Nuoro), fight in supermarket parking lot. Arrest for attempted murder

On the afternoon of November 20th, in Siniscola, The State Police arrested a 74-year-old man in flagrante delicto accused of the crime of attempted murder.

The measure was triggered following a request for intervention for a reported fight in the supermarket parking lot MD of Siniscola. The men from the Siniscola State Police Station who intervened on the scene immediately identified the victim, a 79-year-old local woman, who, due to an argument that broke out over trivial reasons inside the parking lot of the commercial establishment, had been hit with a jack in the head by an individual who then quickly drove away on board his own car.

The woman, seriously injured in the head, was transported to the hospital in Olbia by 118 personnel.

The immediate acquisition of images from the video surveillance systems of the commercial establishment and the information provided by some witnesses, led the investigators to the trail of the attacker, who was subsequently stopped on board his vehicle in a street in the centre of Baroniese. The perpetrator of the act, a 74-year-old man from Siniscola, was arrested for the crime of attempted murder and taken to his home under house arrest, pending validation of the order.
