The Carabinieri of the Operational Section of the Ragusa Company and of the Santa Croce Camerina Station, in collaboration with their colleagues of the Investigative Unit, have executed the arrest warrant of accused of crime against 3 citizens of Tunisian origin, issued today by the Public Prosecutor on duty of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Ibleo Court, who coordinated a rapid and on-site complex investigative activity started following of the murder of a 21 year old compatriot at the height of a violent brawl in the central area of Santa Croce Camrina, on the evening of Saturday 7 September.
A dozen people were involved in various capacities in the clashes and in relation to which investigations continue aimed at defining the exact responsibilities of each person.
The identification of the three arrested, two brothers aged 22 and 25 and a third subject aged 28, was possible thanks to the investigative activities carried out immediately by the Carabinieri, alerted by the Camarina Municipal Police who provided an effective contribution.
In particular, the acquisition of some footage from video surveillance systems, supported by detailed testimonies of the facts and by the technical surveys carried out by the specialized personnel of the Investigative Unit, have allowed us toto reconstruct in detail and in a very short time the dynamics and development of the tragic criminal episode.
From what has emerged so far, the young victim, reached by a stab to the chest during the fight and died a few seconds later, she allegedly had a fight with the two brothers who were arrested, who were in turn subsequently attacked by the 28-year-old.
A 36 year old, finally, was ttransported to the Pope John Paul II hospital in Ragusa for lacerated contused wounds to the head that initially appeared rather serious; treated by paramedics, he was however discharged a few hours later with a ten-day prognosis.
