San Giuliano Milanese: precautionary measure issued in prison for 5 subjects responsible for the crime of attempted murder in conspiracy.

On 16 February 2024, during the early hours of the morning, in San Giuliano Milanese, the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di San Donato Milanese, at the conclusion of a complex investigation activity, executed an order implementing the precautionary measure of custody in prison, issued by the investigating judge at the Court of Lodi, against 5 North African subjects (of which two are currently untraceable and actively sought) held responsible - in various capacities - for the crimes of attempted murder in conspiracy, illegal possession of weapons and illicit trafficking of narcotic substances, committed in San Giuliano Milanese in the period September-December 2023.

The investigations were conducted by the Carabinieri under the direction of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Lodi and developed through technical activities of telephone interception, examination of witnesses, photographic identifications, analysis of territorial controls and images of video surveillance systems present in the city context, they allowed:

• document widespread drug dealing activity (cocaine and hashish) and a related, violent conflict between two factions for the division and control of the territory of San Giuliano Milanese, which culminated, on 27.09.2023 and 30.11.2023, in two episodes of attempted murder, mutually committed by members of the opposing sides with the use of firearms, knives and sticks;
• arrest n. 3 subjects in flagrante delicto for possession for the purpose of dealing drugs, as well as a fourth subject found in possession of a 44 magnum revolver. (loaded and ready for use) hidden inside your car;
• report in a state of freedom to the AG n. 2 people for possession for the purpose of dealing drugs, report another 2 to the Prefectural Authority for possession of narcotic substances for personal use and seize a total of 157 grams of cocaine and 75 grams of "hashish", in pre-packaged doses.

During the concurrent searches of further suspects, the Carabinieri found overall and subjected to seizure approximately 16.000 euros in cash.

This is communicated due to the public relevance of the information, pointing out that the proceeding is in the preliminary investigation phase and the possible responsibility of the suspects will be ascertained only at the outcome of the trial and of the possible definitive sentence of conviction, until that moment the principle of presumption of innocence.
