Rome, they hid 5kg of hashish in the trunk of the car they were traveling in. 4 people arrested by the State Police

Three men aged 3, 22 and 21 and a minor ended up in handcuffs, found by the State Police officers of the Flying Squad with 25 kg of drugs hidden in the trunk of their car.

The officers stopped them for a check in Piazzale della Radio and the four immediately appeared nervous and impatient, so much so that they aroused suspicion.

When the police officers asked them to show the contents of the trunk of the vehicle, one of them (the 22-year-old) tried to hide a bag with his jacket, drawing the officers' attention to another bag containing only clothes.. The attempt, however, was in vain as the gesture did not go unnoticed by the police who identified the bag and found inside it 50 blocks of hashish weighing 5kg. It was at this juncture that one of the men sitting in the passenger side (the 17 year old) he moved behind the wheel trying to start the vehicle to escape but was promptly stopped by the officers. 1690 euros in cash were also seized.

Once the formal procedures were completed, the four individuals were arrested as they were seriously suspected of the crime of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing. The Judicial Authority, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, validated the arrest of the 3 men while the minor was ordered to be placed in the Juvenile Penal Institute of Nisida.

The police's actions have been validated.
