Rome, On 9 June, the agents of the State Police of the XNUMXst District Trevi Campo Marzio, directed by Fabio Abis, carried out the precautionary custody order under house arrest, issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations at the Juvenile Court of Rome, at the request of the relevant Prosecutor's Office, against a 16-year-old, responsible for robbery in collaboration with another minor - reported in a state of freedom - as he was found to have no criminal record .
The incident dates back to May 17th, when two minor boys were robbed by their peers, near Piazzale Flaminio/Viale Washington.
The frightened young people, not knowing how to provide the details of the "little predators", however, told the officers that they were regular visitors to that area of Villa Borghese, a well-known nightlife area, often violent.
The victims, in their complaint, reported that, under threat, not having money with them, they had been forced to hand over the yellow gold bracelet that one of the two was wearing on his wrist. And in the end they managed to provide a brief description of the physical characteristics of the robbers.
By virtue of this, in the following days the investigators began extensive monitoring in that area, aimed at identifying the perpetrators. During one of these specific services, the staff came across a young man who, based on the descriptions provided by the complainants, could be attributable to one of the perpetrators of the robbery. At just 16 years old, in the presence of his parent, he reported that, in fact, on the previous 17 May, he was in Piazzale Flaminio in the company of a friend of his age, also 16 years old, who, threatening him with a knife, forced him to accompany him for carry out a robbery.
From the investigations carried out, only one of the two has a police record, the other being found to have no criminal record. Following the activity carried out, a detailed communication was sent to the competent Prosecutor's Office for minors who thus requested and obtained the precautionary measure.
During the execution, following indications from the young recipient of the measure, the gold bracelet stolen from the victim of the robbery was found, hidden in his family home.
The Police Commissioner of Rome, on the basis of the investigation carried out by the Anti-Crime Division, directed by Angela Altamura, having assessed the dangerousness of the behavior of the two young people, promptly issued the DACUR provision against them "ban on access to urban areas", lasting 18 months for the first and one year for the second.
Both will not be able to access the area where the robbery took place between 18.00 pm and 06.00 am.
Failure to comply with this provision will result in imprisonment from six months to two years and a fine of 8 thousand to 20 thousand euros.
