Rome, Extraordinary Blood Donation at San Camillo
Donating blood is a gesture of great generosity, a true act of solidarity.: this morning at 9.00 am The Student Agents of the Nettuno State Police School went to the San Camillo – Forlanini transfusion center in Rome to donate blood to Daniele Virgili, the Local Police Officer who was hit in Rome on November 6th.
Donate blood voluntarily and consciously: this is the message from the State Police students who want to be an example for all other young people. Donating blood is an important gesture: it means making your availability concrete towards others and also towards yourself, since it feeds a collective “heritage” of values and blood, which everyone can use when needed. An initiative also shared by the General Director of San Camillo –Forlanini Angelo Aliquo'.
"Donating your blood means being able to save human lives and making a precious and irreplaceable tool available to the community. Over time, the identikit of donors has changed, but on the horizon there is the need for a generational change, similar gestures are an incentive for future generations" - says Claudio Saltari National President DonatoriNati.
In line with the Always Being There of the State Police and the Fire Brigade witnessed by the volunteers present in 16 Regions of Italy, the President DonatoNati Lazio Luca Repola will be present, who has taken care of the initiative in every detail and who has been on the field in line with the Always Being There of the State Police, always alongside the citizens.
