The YouPol app of the State Police, created to report - even anonymously - episodes of drug dealing, youth problems, bullying and then extended to crimes that affect the family sphere, once again allowed the discovery of a drug dealing base in the Casilino area.
A constant coming and going of drug addicts, in front of a building in the Torre Maura neighborhood: this is the report that residents had sent to the operations room of the police headquarters and which started the investigations conducted by the agents of the VI Casilino District.
It is right in front of a club in Torre Maura that the police they intercepted the suspicious movements of a boy who was just over 18. The young man, after having "taken the request" from the customers, had entered a building and then come out after a few moments and handed over the dose of hashish to the drug addict. Investigators documented two sales and then took action.: after Eighteen-year-old arrested, they broke into the apartment where they a thirty-four year old of Albanian origins and a twenty-one year old Roman woman were discovered.
Caught by surprise by the officers, their attempt to get rid of the drugs was in vain: following the search, The police seized more than 2 grams of hashish and approximately 700 euros in cash. Transferred to the offices of the VI Casilino District for the routine checks, the three intercepted were arrested for violating the narcotics legislation and placed at the disposal of the Judiciary.
Furthermore, in the courtrooms of Piazzale Clodio, the Judge for Preliminary Investigations, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, validated the actions of the police. In any case, all the suspects are to be considered presumed innocent, in consideration of the current phase of the proceedings, i.e. that of the preliminary investigations, until a definitive finding of guilt with an irrevocable sentence.
