Romanengo: He abused his parents, 21-year-old arrested

The Carabinieri of the Crema Radiomobile Unit they arrested a 21 year old man for violating the measure of leaving the family home and the prohibition of approaching.

At the beginning of last September, the Carabinieri of the Romanengo Station had notified him of the order for the application of the precautionary measure issued by the Court of Cremona to protect the man's parents who had suffered abuse and personal injuries. The couple, now tired and desperate because of their son's excesses, had repeatedly asked the Carabinieri to intervene because the young man, often in an altered state, was very aggressive and overbearing.

This had led to a marked worsening of the family climate, giving rise to heated arguments every time the parents denied the money that he continually asked for without explaining what it was for. On several occasions the parents had been verbally attacked with insults and death threats.

And on one occasion the 21-year-old had attacked his father, punching him and forcing him to seek treatment in the emergency room where he received a prognosis of a few days. In other circumstances, He had broken furniture, glass doors and various household items. At the end of August, after the last two violent actions, the couple had reported everything to the Carabinieri of the Romanengo Station and the judicial authority, taking into account the seriousness of the mistreatment carried out, had issued the precautionary measure to protect the physical safety of the spouses, requiring the 21-year-old not to approach the places they frequent and not to communicate with the victims in any way.

But all this was not enough to stop him and he was arrested for violating the ban. The Radiomobile patrol was sent to the couple's home because the son had shown up on the spot and attacked his parents. When they arrived, the military they found the 21-year-old in a very agitated state, aggressive even towards the patrol soldiers who were forced to restrain him with handcuffs.

Then the Carabinieri they ascertained that the man had shown up at his parents' house who had not opened, but the young man had managed to enter the courtyard of the house by kicking the lock of the gate. In the courtyard he confronted his father, punching him in the face, then damaged his parents' two cars, breaking headlights and windshields, as well as damaging some vases in the garden by kicking them.

After having stopped him, the soldiers accompanied him to the Crema barracks and declared him under arrest, but he was unmanageable due to his state of psychomotor agitation for which he was accompanied to the hospital in Crema where he was sedated. Finally, he was escorted to the Cremona prison. At the end of the hearing, he ordered the precautionary measure of detention in prison and the postponement to the hearing of next November 11th.
