Indeed, The Carabinieri of the Crema Radiomobile Unit have arrested a 39-year-old man, of no fixed abode and with a criminal record, held responsible for resisting and injuring a public official, who escaped the stop imposed by a Radiomobile patrol and gave rise to a crazy chase that lasted 10 kilometersYesterday, November 8, shortly after 18 pm, the Crema Radiomobile patrol was in Rivolta d'Adda on the SP 20 in the direction Milano, noticed a car with a person driving suddenly accelerate, fleeing and making risky and extremely dangerous overtaking manoeuvres, often invading the opposite lane to prevent the service vehicle from coming alongside and causing serious danger to other road users.
The Radiomobile soldiers continued the chase, making the danger visible with the use of sirens and flashing lights of the service car.. But on several occasions the fugitive risked colliding with oncoming cars. The chase began on the SP 4 of the Municipality of Rivolta d'Adda and ended in the Albignano hamlet of the Municipality of Truccazzano on the SP104 intersection with via Milano where due to high speed the driver lost control of the vehicle, leaving the road and ending up crashing into the guardrail.
The man who got out of the vehicle ran away on foot, but was chased, caught up and stopped by the military while he was climbing over the fence of a house located in that street. MilanoDuring this phase the subject tried to free himself, causing one of the soldiers who intervened a bruise on the right hand.. Other patrols from the Crema Company arrived on site and the subject and his car were searched without finding anything useful. The man, in possession of a foreign driving license, was accompanied to the Crema barracks where he was identified through photo identification, resulting in numerous criminal records against him for property crimes and already forcibly expelled from the national territory in the summer of 2020.
In the late morning the arrest was validated, with the application of preventive detention in prison with the hearing postponed to November 11. The arrested person was transferred to the district prison of Milano St. Victor.
