Rimini, theft at the “Le Befane” shopping center: the perpetrator arrested

Rimini, around 20.00 pm yesterday a State Police car was sent to the "Le Befane" shopping center following the report of a theft at the Cisalfa store.

The perpetrator of the theft, a 25-year-old Ukrainian citizen, entered the shop with an empty backpack and then hid inside some items that he had brought with him to the fitting rooms. After leaving the dressing rooms he headed towards the exit where he was stopped by a store security guard.
The stolen goods, two t-shirts and a sweatshirt, had a total commercial value of €134,95. In addition to the stolen goods, a metal hook in the shape of a "claw" was also found, useful for fraudulently tampering with anti-shoplifting devices.
The person was arrested for attempted aggravated theft and placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
