Rieti, the State Police arrests heroin dealer
On the morning of 12 January 2023, the staff of the Flying Squad of the Rieti Police Headquarters arrested a 37-year-old Italian citizen, responsible for the crime of dealing in narcotic drugs such as heroin.

As part of the services aimed at combating drug dealing, with particular regard to the historic center of Rieti and the railway and COTRAL terminals, the State Police investigators noticed a young man, already arrested in the past for drug-related crimes, getting off a bus coming from Rome and walking away suspiciously towards the city center.
The State Police Agents immediately blocked him and subjected him to control, despite the fact that he had tried to make a hasty escape, finding him in possession of a metal box containing 30 doses of heroin and 270 euros in banknotes of various denominations, probably proceeds of the illicit activity carried out by man.
The subsequent house search carried out by the Agents in his home located in a municipality in Sabina allowed them to find and seize two more doses of heroin, some bottles of methadone, precision scales and other material used for dividing and packaging the doses to be dealt. .
The drug dealer was, therefore, arrested by State Police Agents and associated, as ordered by the Judicial Authority, at his home under house arrest pending the hearing to validate the arrest.
As part of the criminal proceedings initiated against you, any criminal liability will be ascertained by the Judge.
