Evacuations along the Lamone river in Ravenna
Due to the serious hydraulic criticality along the Lamone River, the Municipality of Ravenna has ordered evacuations in the at-risk districts. Santerno and Ammonite must be completely evacuated, while specific measures apply to other areas. A reception point has been set up for those in need.
In consideration of the current hydraulic criticality, evacuations have been ordered by the Municipality of Ravenna which concern the hamlets along the Lamone river.
L'evacuation is total for Santerno and Ammonite, from the border with the municipality of Russi to the Ammonite roundabout.
As regards the fractions of Mezzano, Glorie, Borgo Masotti, Torri, Grattacoppa, Conventello and San Romualdo, anyone within 300 metres of the Lamone embankment must leave the property. Everyone else can go to the upper floors, obviously only if they are in a multi-story building.
Those who cannot be hosted by family or friends can go to reception point set up by the Municipality in the Iti and Geometri gyms, with entrance from via Cassino, which will be open from 18 pm today, Friday 14 March.

Given the critical situation, there is no shortage of messages of support, President of the Sardinia Region, Alessandra Todde, expressed solidarity with the people of Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany, affected by bad weather. He also announced the availability of the Sardinian Civil Protection to intervene to support emergency operations, if necessary.

Prime Minister Meloni has made it known that she has had continuous contacts both with Minister Nello Musumeci and with the head of the Civil Protection Department Fabio Ciciliano.

Due to the bad weather at the moment 539 firefighters are deployed, located in the most critical areas of Tuscany.
