Ragusa: Robbed and forced to suffer sexual acts against her will. 20-year-old arrested.

On the morning of August 7, 2024, the Carabinieri of the Operational Section of the NOR of the Ragusa Company they executed a custodial order issued by the GIP of the Ragusa Court, against a 20-year-old Italian, considered responsible for the crimes of sexual violence and robbery.

From the investigations carried out immediately after the criminal events which occurred at the end of last July, it emerged that the young man, under the pretext of a sexual performance for a prostitute from Ragusa,'he would have beaten her and ordered her to give him money and precious effects kept inside your home; in the circumstance, after having 20 euros and three packs of cigarettes were stolen from the woman, he also allegedly forced her to undergo a sexual act against her will.

Thanks to the investigations immediately carried out by Carabinieri serious evidence of guilt against the man was acquired, which allowed the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Iblean capital to request and obtain from the GIP Office at the Court of Ragusa the measure of precautionary custody in prison.
