Ragusa, ban on access to DASPO sporting events for 22 fans of the Licata football team notified.
The football match valid for the Serie D championship between the Ragusa and Licata teams took place last December 3rd at the municipal stadium “A. Campo” of Ragusa.
During the match, in the stand occupied by the Licata fans, some of them had set off firecrackers and at the end of the match a large group, putting pressure on the gates placed on the double fences that delimit and separate that sector from the one occupied by the fans opponent, caused the locks to break and be opened and broke into the grandstand still occupied by the Ragusa team's fans.
Il rapid intervention of the police forces employed by the Police Commissioner in the public order and safety service, avoided physical contact between issupporters of the two teams, avoiding the situation from escalating and the serious danger to public order and safety.
The investigative activity was immediately started by DIGOS. who, with the support of video-recorded images by the Scientific Police, managed to identify the people responsible for various illicit conduct, such as the launching of pyrotechnic devices and the undue crossing of the plant's fences.
Overall, they were identified and reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Ragusa no. 22 supporters of the Licata football team, aged between 56 and 16 years (in total there are four minors).
Following the judicial police activity, the fans' conduct was examined by the Anti-Crime Police Division for the purposes of adopting personal prevention measures by the Police Commissioner, the provincial public security authority.
Applying the rules established by law to the specific case preventative the Police Commissioner Dr. Vincenzo Trombadore has adopted nr. 22 measures by DASpo. (prohibition of access to places where sporting events are held) against the same fans of the Licata Calcio team already reported.
The injunction which prohibits the 22 Licata fans from accessing places where sporting events take place for a period of one year was notified in recent days.
